  I started attending SUMC in 2004 w/my aunt & uncle. I soon found one can indeed return back to their home locale. I found people in both the early (0845) & the 11:00 service to be kind & welcoming. In addition, the Sunday School classes have been interesting with quality teachers over the years. I think these are traits that help a worship group grow & maintain its appeal to others. There have also been a variety of outings including, but not limited to,
  A. Monthly Sunday School lunch
  socials at various places in the area.
  B. An occasional ice cream social.
  C. A visit to a local seafood restaurant.
  D. Gathering to enjoy the bounty of a
  catch of fish by members of the
  class.
  E. Gathering for an occasional
  cookout or to celebrate a
  Milestone Birthday or Anniversary.
  I am among the many who really love
  our Church settled in the rural community of Simpson. We hope you
  will join us one Sunday.

  be warned, had a terrible visit with this church, republican church that's for sure, people not open to change

  We have just started attending this church and the members could not have been more welcoming to our family. We look forward to building a relationship with them.
